I-RATIONALE:
This Scholarship is named "Mother of God", a befitting title bestowed by the Church to our Blessed Mother. As the title implies, it is meant to give and nurture life, to give hope, and empower the poor through the education they received. Thus, in the long process of formation, the scholars may be formed to be God-fearing, self-reliant and self-determined Christians who in turn become the transformative agents of their families, communities and nations.
II-OBJECTIVES:
- to give opportunities to alumni, private individuals, groups, associations, and organizations (GO's and NGO's) to help the poor by sending poor and deserving student/s to school;
- to encourage individuals/groups. to fulfill their social responsibility and "payback" to whatever blessings they received and continue to receive from the Lord;
- to make a difference in the world (corollary to" it is better to light a little candle.")
- to give chances to the poor and deserving students to go to school;
- to form God-fearing, self-reliant and self-determined Christians who will become the transformative agents of their families, communities and nations;

IV-BENEFICIARIES:
- The Grade school pupils with priority to Grade 6 graduating beneficiaries of St. Bakhita Scholarship (poor and deserving) incoming first year student who applied and passed all the academic, behavioral, economic status requirements, and terms and conditions of the Program;
- Recommended by the Grade school principal, Community Outreach coordinator
- Approved by the Directress which primarily depends in the availability of funds;
V-FUNDING MECHANISM:
(Any participant of the Scholarship pledges to support a scholar/s .)
- in FULL for FOUR YEARS (1st-4th years HS) which covers the tuition, school, extra fees and books ( with or without) based in the current school's schedule of fees;
- PARTIALLY, a minimum of P/5,000.00 yearly for four years;
VI-IMPLEMENTING ARM:
- The School's Human Resource Department is tasked to PROCESS all applications and make recommendations.
- The Community Outreach Center is to monitor ( academically, behaviorally, and supporting needs) the progress of the scholars and make recommendations as to the scholar's continuous enjoyment of the scholarship.
VII-TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Academic Requirement---no grades below 80% in all subjects (GPA) at the end of the school year;
- Behavioral Requirement---no disciplinary sanctions at any time/year whatever is the duration;
- Economic Status---poor ---which will be determined by the Outreach Coordinator/staff after the process of interview, ocular and home visits;
- Health requirement -to be checked, assessed and determined by the school's medical staff;
- The scholar is asked to pay a portion of the fees as his/her token contribution which will be determined by the HRD coord and directress;.
- He/she will be given certain tasks during the year as a mechanism for character development;
- The availability and cooperation of the scholars' parents/guardians for meetings, gatherings for formative and community outreach purposes;
