SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PRE-CHOOL
At the end of the two - year Pre - school program, the Pre - school pupils are expected to:
1. Develop gross and fine motor coordination through play and manipulative activities
2. Develop basic skills of independent movement and positive attitudes in relating with teachers and other children
3. Acquire facility in oral expression and basic readiness skills of listening, pre - reading and writing
4. Develop numerical skills of classifying and seriating objects according to size and, color and shape
5. Demonstrate increased interest and appreciation of themselves as individuals capable of manifesting desirable attitudes, values and sense of nationhood
6. Acquire a sense of awe and wonder in the goodness of God as Loving Father and Creator and develop openness to the teaching and practices of the Catholic Church
These Sisters belong to the religious congregation called the Canossian Daughters of Charity, which originated in Verona, Italy and whose members are spread all over the world.
